Dobyns-Bennett High School to Host Tennessee Department of Human Services Community Resource Fair

WHAT: 2nd Annual Transition School-to-Work Community Resource Fair

Dobyns-Bennett High School will host the 2nd Annual Transition School-to-Work Community Resource Fair on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. located at the Civic Auditorium. This free community resource fair, held in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Human Services - Division of Rehabilitation Services, will bring together more than 36 local agencies to showcase services and resources available to individuals with disabilities. 
 
The fair is open to the public and provides an opportunity for students, families, and job seekers to connect with local organizations offering support in employment, disability services, healthcare, and more. Food trucks will also be on-site for attendees to enjoy.
 
“We’re thrilled to host this event for a second year,” said Jimmy Burleson, Dobyns-Bennett High School Transition School-to-Work Coordinator. “This resource fair is a fantastic opportunity for students, families, and job seekers to connect with a wide range of services available in our community. From disability support and employment resources to health and wellness services, we’ll have a variety of agencies on hand to help attendees explore what’s available to them. We invite everyone to join us on May 2!”
